What's VegOKC?
Launched in 2017 as a local community for animal lovers, advocates and activists interested in reducing animal suffering and pain in the world. While based in OKC, we welcome everyone from the state of Oklahoma, whether you're from Norman, Edmond or Tulsa.

Who am I?
​
I'm Nadine, born and raised in eastern Canada, currently located in Moore, OK.
I'm a proud Navy wife and mom of two boys.
​
I officially went vegan overnight January 1st, 2017 for Veganuary, and never looked back. That same month, I was also hired as an intern for The Humane League in San Diego.
​
Sadly, we had to move because... #militarylife, but I still continue to volunteer for The Humane League and support other non-profit organisations such as Mercy for Animals, The Humane Society, Vegan Outreach, and Anonymous for the Voiceless.
